4-inch enamel dial signed J. B. Du Tertre A Paris, central alarm disc, the similarly signed movement with verge and balance escapement mounted on the backplate, outside count wheel striking on a bell, pull quarter repeating on the same bell, the cadrature mounted on the backplate, the alarm train wound through the dial acting on the bell, the rectangular case with carrying handle and engraved with trellis and with a pierced bell gallery, glazed sides and rear door
