Description

  • 34cm., 13 3/8 in. long
oblong form with an egg and dart rim, the border ornately cast and pierced with fruiting vines, tulip-pierced swing-handle, on a pierced oblong base, engraved with two coats-of-arms below royal crowns, one for Wade, the other possibly Morton or Varnam with the motto of the Order of the Garter within the collar and badge of the Order of the Thistle

Condition

Clear marks to body, maker's mark rubbed. The whole has been lacquered. The pierced and cast decoration appears to be in good order. No obvious damage or repairs. Good overall condition.
