  • 72cm. high, 153cm wide, 578cm. long (extended); 2ft. 4½in., 5ft. ¼in., 18ft. 11½in.
each pillar with tilt-top action, with three associated leaves

Acquired from John Keil, 1983.

Condition

In overall reasonable conserved condition. Colour is fairly even although the three additional leaves are associated. Top with two deep scratches which would benefit from attention. Chip to one of the additional leaves. Table comes with only four metal clasps, one bent slightly out of shape, and will need 8 further clasps (9 ideally) in order to secure the additional leaves and extend the table fully. Tilt-top of one pillar with repaired break to corner edge. One leg to pillar with repaired break. Braces replaced to pillars and D-ends possibly reduced in width. Please note, Sotheby's are borrowing additional clasps for the gallery view from Savino del Prete Ltd.
