Literature

The Fine Art Society, London;
Acquired by Major Ion Harrison from the above on the 26 March 1926 for £24. The pedestals were used for displaying bronzes in the Harrison Collection including lot 313.

Condition

These attractively figured and nice quality pedestals will need to be professionally re-attached to each base to ensure they are secure and safe for display. There are chips to extremities particularly where they were fixed in place. Rubbing to tops from were sculpture as been placed. Each pedestal currently in two sections as the bases of each is conceived to be removed. Decorative. Diameter of each top 27.5cm. and 26cm.
