glazed ceramic ; signed E. LAGET, located and dated Le Lavandou 91 on the underside ; with an additional pair of modern painted terracotta elephants bookends
Condition
Good overall condition. The glaze is crackled throughout and presents with a small loss of approximately 1 x 0,5 cm. The books are titled Mireio by F. Mistral (For the poem Mirèio of Frédéric Mistral, written in 1859). The surface presents with a few small stains. The elephant bookends in good overall condition. The finish presents with some small chips scattered. Overall surface soiling. Dimensions : 12 x 15,5 x 6 cm. This lot has not been inspected under UV light.
