Description

  • H. 5 cm, 2 in. ; 5 cm, 2 in. ; 3 cm, 1 1/4  in. ; 5 cm, 2 in. ; 4,5 cm, 1 3/4  in.
Together with a bovine bone skull and a bovine bone Mala bracelet comprising twelve skulls

Condition

In overall fairly good condition with minor surface dirt and wear to the carving consistent with age and handling. The skull with an articulated jaw has missing teeth. One skull with a small loss visible inside the lower jaw and a break visible to both cheekbones. Two skulls with a broken lower jaw. A few hairline fissures consistent with the material are visible on some skulls. The Mala skulls with fairly worn carving.
