upholstered in part 18th century 'petit' and 'gros points' tapestry; together with four cushions upholstered in part 19th century tapestries; (the sofas restored) re-painted

Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. There are inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. There are some restorations, especially to the seat and to the feet, with new pieces of wood under the seatrail. As stated in the catalogue, the pair of canapés has been relacquered. There are some refreshments to the lacquer. The two rosettes of the armrests of one canapé are missing. There are some wear and tears to the tapestries, and as stated in the catalogue, the tapestries are partly 18th century. There are restorations to the tapestries. The cushions: as stated in the catalogue, the cushions are partly 19th century. The four cushions have been restored. The pink velvet at the back is in good overall condition.
