Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. Good overall condition. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. As stated in the catalogue, the gilding is later. There are some chips and rubbed areas to the gilding revealing the white gesso and the red bowl underneath. The grey velvet is later and in good condition. The construction is firm and sound. Ready to display and use.
