Condition
The board is stable. There are small losses to all four corners and to the lower part of the left edge with associated scuffs. There are nicks along all four edges with associated tiny paint losses. Examination under UV light reveals small lines of retouching towards the centre of the left edge, a few spots of retouching, approx. 5 cm above the centre of the lower edge, and tiny dots of retouching towards the centre of the right edge. There are spots of fluorescence to all four corners which do not appear to be related to any retouching. There are some small areas of paint shrinkage, notably to the red pigment and a few fine lines of craquelure in places, predominately to the most thickly applied pigment. This work is in overall good condition.
