Condition

The canvas is not lined and undulating. Examination under UV light reveals a few dots of retouching along the extreme edges relating to frame rubbing. There is a small dent to the upper left quadrant with associated small lines of craquelure and some additional lines of craquelure, predominately to the sky. The varnish appears to have slightly yellowed. There is frame rubbing along the extreme edges with associated dots of pigment loss, notably to the lower right corner. The impasto is nice and well preserved. This work is in overall good condition.
