Condition

(i) Executed on a postcard, not laid down and sandwiched in the mount. There are two small areas of skinning to the upper left and right corners of the verso consistent with previous mounting, which are not visible when framed. The artist's inscription is slightly faded, and there is a diagonal crease towards the lower right corner. (ii) Executed on a post card, not laid down and hinged to the mount in two places along the lower edge. There are two small stains, one to the cheek of the sitter the other to towards the centre of the right edge. The sheet is lightly time stained and there are some very minor spots of foxing in the lower part of the card. Overall these works are in good condition.
