Condition

There is minor wear to the title slip and some holes to the mount and some fraying to the upper and lower edges of the silk. There is some light overall wear to the paper of the frontispiece, a vertical crease to the mount where the end of the fontispiece joins the silk mount. The paper is of a less yellow colour than the catalogue illustration suggests. There are old losses to the paper of the calligraphy (visible in the catalogue illustration), some overall staining. The colour of the paper is less yellow than the catalogue illustration suggests. There are two vertical splits where the paper is mounted at the beginning and end of the calligraphy. There is overall wear to the paper of the colophones, some vertical splits to the paper. The paper of the colophones is less yellow than the catalogue illustration suggests. The silk mount with overall scattered stains.
