Condition

The scroll and rubbing are in overall good condition. The frontispieces are written in ink on the silk mount. There is very light staining to the silk, some smaller areas on the lower part of the mount. The rubbing itself is in one piece, with small areas of wear and tiny losses and a ca. 4cm long fine white line to the upper left hand side. The silk mount is lighter in colour than the catalogue illustration suggests.
