Thence in the family by descent. 

There is very minor wear on both wood covers. There is very minor wear to the paper mount around the rubbings, There are insect holes to the upper left and right hand sides of the mounts on the last five leaves of the album, continuing on the three inscribed pages at the back of the album. There is very light overall wear to the mounted rubbings, very minute areas of loss, some very light staining, some small areas of retouching. The colour is a lighter and more textured dark grey than the catalogue illustration suggests.
