with turned finials above a turned crest rail with mushroom hand grips; together with cushion.

Condition

Overall fine condition. Wear and rubbing to the paint commensurate with age and use. Some old losses to the proper right handhold. Previously fitted for a rush seat, but the side rails have been removed and a slip seat has been added, though this may have occurred during the 19th century.
