Catalogue Note

John Laughton Jr., son of John Laughton I, free by patrimony of the Grocers' Company 1675, was brother of Edward, free of the Grocers' Company, mark entered as largeworker undated, between January and July 1699 when he signs as "Junior," address Maiden Lane. A number of children of John and Mary Laughton were baptised at St. John Zachary from 1693-99. He was churchwarden at the same church 1699 and 1700 and was buried there 17 September 1703 (Grimwade).
