painted around the exterior in blue, red and green with repeated foliate motifs, the interior with a central flower spray within a band of blue scrolls.

Condition

There are two restored rim chips with small areas of discoloured over-paint. There are several hairline body cracks to the piece, and a network of fine glaze crazing cracks to the interior base of the bowl. A flat chip to underside edge of footrim.
