Catalogue Note

A fine Dutch plan of London, coinciding with the Glorious Revolution of 1688. William and Mary's portraits are lower right, within garlands decorated with oranges.  The panoramic view of the city from across the Thames includes a still under construction St. Paul's cathedral. The map was first published by De Ram c.1688; after he died in 1693 Jacobus de la Feuille married his widow and continued the business.
