Description

  • 9.4 cm, 3 3/4  in.
of arched form with a small aperture at each end, the edges of both ends with notches, incised on one side with a stylised dragon, the translucent stone of a yellowish-celadon colour, green fitted box with a Douane Centrale Exportation Paris label on the base

A French private collection, prior to 1942 (label).
Collection of Emil Hultmark (1872-1943), and thence by descent in the family.

Condition

There are few insignificant bruises or tiny nicks along the edge, otherwise good condition. The stone bears an attractive patina.
