  • 8 and 6.7 cm, 3 1/8  and 2 5/8  in.
the incense burner cast with four birds among flower branches against a diapered ground; the dropper in the form of a hollowed drum with a boy standing beside and beating the drum, the bronze richly patinated to a dark brown colour

Provenance

Collection of Emil Hultmark (1872-1943), and thence by descent in the family.

Condition

Both have old small repairs in the cast, some with old fillings. The three feet of the incense burner are somewhat worn or missing. There are dents along the edges of the incense burner. There is also a dent to the underside of the water dropper and surface pitting all consistent with the age and type.
