Description

  • 16 cm, 6 1/4  in.
of rectangular form with a grinding surface and two recessed wells, each side carved with a short inscription, the base with a maker's mark, zitan cover

Condition

The ceramic inkstone has some chips to the edges and corners, in addition to original firing flaws. The green enamelled surface has extensive wear, especially to the top plain as visible in the catalogue illustration.
