- 8.5 and 8.2 cm, 3 3/8 and 3 1/4 in.
the inkstick rest modelled in the form of a handscroll with decorative borders simulating brocade, decorated with a landscape, zhu seal mark; the brushrest covered overall save for the base in a celadon glaze
Condition
The two pieces are in good condition. There is some rubbing to the grisaille decoration on the inkrest (showing on the illustration in the catalogue) as well as rubbing to the gilding along the edges. The brushrest is of a somewhat softer celadon colour, less saturated when compared to the catalogue photo.
