Description

  • 8.5 and 8.2 cm, 3 3/8  and 3 1/4  in.
the inkstick rest modelled in the form of a handscroll with decorative borders simulating brocade, decorated with a landscape, zhu seal mark; the brushrest covered overall save for the base in a celadon glaze

Condition

The two pieces are in good condition. There is some rubbing to the grisaille decoration on the inkrest ‎(showing on the illustration in the catalogue) as well as rubbing to the gilding along the edges. The brushrest is of a somewhat softer celadon colour, less saturated when compared to the catalogue photo.
