  • 19.7 cm, 7 3/4  in.
the deep rounded body carved with lotus petals at the angled shoulders, set with a strap handle opposite a long curved spout issuing from the head of a dragon, fitted with a cover surmounted by a lotus bud finial, covered in a greyish-green glaze

Condition

The foot has an area of break (3.7cm) which has been restuck with original pieces, with an associated loss (0.8cm). The rim has a shallow flake (0.5cm). There are other expected minute nibbling along the extremities. The spout and the handle preserved in good condition, with only minor glaze wear to the horns of the beast. Minor glaze firing imperfections and surface wear.
