Description

  • 11.5 cm, 4 1/2  in.
the ovoid body moulded with the 'basket-weave' pattern, set with two small tubular handles at the shoulder, the domed cover similarly decorated, covered overall save for the rims and base in a brown glaze

Condition

The jar is in good overall condition, with the shape of the mouth rim slightly irregular. The cover has been restored after it was broken in two pieces, the break lines visible on the underside where there is a tiny associated chip, and is also visible to the eye on the exterior.
