Description
- 44 cm, 17 3/8 in.
of octagonal section, the concave top incised through the white slip with a poetic verse, flanked by foliage reserved on a dark-brown ground, covered overall in a creamy-white glaze
Condition
Fritting to rims, with several related polished and retouched areas along the protruding top edges, in particular a C-shaped section of approx. 4 cm to the front edge. Shallow flakes to a small area on the top and small chips to the bottom edges. Original flaws including misfired areas to the reverse, burst air bubbles and firing lines with related losses.
