Description
- 43.5 and 34.5 cm, 17 1/8 and 13 5/8 in
both pillows carved and decorated to the top with flower sprays
Condition
The white pillow has several chips to the edges, a few of which have been retouched with overpaint. There are also surface wear and scratches, as well as original flaws including firing lines. The green pillow has some chips to the raised decoration as visible in the catalogue illustration. There are sprayed and retouched areas, especially to the edges. The unglazed underside has a hairline crack and some illegible incisions.
