Description

  • 18.4 cm, 7 1/4  in.
the ruyi-shaped headrest supported on a recumbent tiger, covered overall in a creamy-white glaze with russet stripes

Condition

The headrest has a few restored rim chips and retouched flakes with overpaint, in addition to some crackles visible on the top front. There are several restored nicks to the extremities of the tiger, including its right eyebrow, right ear and left front paw. There is also a chip to the unglazed body of its left hind-leg.
