Description

  • 10.8 and 8.8 cm, 4 1/4  and 3 1/2  in.
the bowl covered in a greyish-blue glaze suffused with crackles; the jar covered overall save for the foot in an ivory-tinged glaze

Condition

The jar has a horizontal firing line to the lower body, and general glaze deterioration and minor flaking. There is a shallow chip to the foot (1cm). The bowl has a retouched area to the interior rim (2.7cm), possibly to conceal a kiln flaw. The glaze is slightly dry.
