- 10 and 6.7 cm, 4 and 2 5/8 in.
the duck rendered resting on a rockwork; the cups of octagonal section, decorated around the foot with triangular motif, the base with an angular scrolling mark
Provenance
Collection of T.Y. Chao (1912-1999).
Condition
Overall good condition with expected firing imperfections including kiln grits. There is a tiny nick to the rim of one cup, original to the piece. There is a horizontal firing crack in the glaze to one side of the bird (approx. 2cm). The wood stands are in overall good condition.
