  • 28.5 cm, 11 1/4  in.
with shallow rounded sides, painted with butterflies hovering among flowering peonies, the base with an artemisia leaf mark

Condition

There is some typical fritting to the mouth rim consistent with the type and period . There is a small flake (approx. 0.4 cm by 0.5 cm) which has been re-stuck to the rim, to the 12 o'clock of the dish. There is rubbing to the enamels, predominantly on the 8 o'clock of the dish as visible on the catalogue photo.
