each painted with branches of gooseberries and two fluttering butterflies, the interior centred with the sanduo, below a yellow-ground ruyi-band at the rim

Condition

There are two short, very thin hairlines in the glaze from the rim on the exterior to one of the bowls (not going through), and a small horizontal hairline or scratch with brown discoloration in another place. Otherwise, the bowls are in overall good condition, with few firing imperfections, including shrinkage to the glaze and a couple of pinholes, as well as light surface scratches and occasional rubbing to the enamels.
