the cover decorated in brown slip with a central bloom, surrounded by liberal streaks, all against a creamy-white slip, the shallow recessed base unglazed revealing the grey body

Condition
The box and cover are in overall good condition. There are some firing imperfections including grits on the cover and underneath the base. There is a couple of chips to the raised interior rim. The model is rare and elegant, the firing is rather successful. The actual colour is consistent with the catalogue photo.
