Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum, partial maker's marks. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated colour H-J, mixed clarity grades, VS - I1. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 5.00-6.00 carats. Sapphires mid to deep blue, transparent to translucent, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface-reaching, some areas of minor chipping and wear, some displaying slight asterism under spotlight. Brooch fitting closing securely. Evidence of minor solder repair to reverse and small areas of associated discoloration to metal. Light scratches to stone and metal surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition. Overall dimensions approximately 55 x 56mm. Gross weight approximately 38.66 grams.
