CULTURED PEARL AND DIAMOND NECKLACE, CARTIER

Composed of three rows of cultured pearls, the clasp designed as interlaced circles millegrain set with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 395 mm, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay mark for platinum, total gross weight 97.91g. 

French assay mark for platinum, and 18 carat gold. French maker's mark partially visible, seems to be CJ around a bell, possibly for Claude Jonsson, 113 r. du Temple, 75003 Pari. Signed Cartier Paris, with traces of numbers P8907. Diamonds bright and lively. Approximate total weight of the diamonds 0.30 - 0.50 carats. The necklace include a line of 42 pearls, an other of 46 pearls, and an other with 50 pearls. Approximate size of pearls between 7.5 to 8 mm. Approximate shorter length of the necklace 375 mm. Pearls with white cream colour body, slighly rosé overtones, light scratches and areas of minor pitting to nacre surfaces. Clasp closes securely. Overall in good condition.
