Description

Set with square-cut rubies, sapphires and synthetic stones, enhanced with circular- and single-cut diamonds, French import assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum, gross weight approximately 11.61 grams.

Condition

Sapphires mid blue, rubies pinkish red, all of good saturation, some minor typical inclusions visible under magnification. Some of the smaller calibré-cut rubies possibly synthetic, not possible to ascertain due to size. Small areas of chipping and wear to areas of facet edges. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.50 - 2.00 carats. Brooch fitting in good working order, closing securely. Overall dimensions approximately 49 x 19mm. Light scratches to surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 11.61 grams.
