Description

Each of scroll design, centring a natural pearl measuring from approximately 8.5-8.6mm, further set with brilliant-, fancy-cut and baguette diamonds, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay marks for 18 carat gold and maker's marks, total gross weight approximately 14.73 grams.

Condition

Accompanied by LFG report no. 347900, stating that the pearls are natural, saltwater, with no indication of treatment. Clip fittings stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold, French maker's mark RE with head of pierrot, possibly for Robert Ehret, 28 rue St Roch, 75001 Paris, each signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 2.599CS. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 4.00 - 5.00 carats, estimated to be I-J colour, VS clarity on average. Pearls each approximately 8.5 x 8.6mm, depth not possible to gauge within the limitations of the mount. Pearls each of cream to very pale pinkish body colour, with green and rose overtones, both of near-spherical shape, one slightly pear shaped. Nacre in good condition, some very light scratches and unevenness to surfaces, some glue residue to bases. Each with hook fitting at base for pendants (not supplied). Clip fittings in good working order, closing securely. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. Each measuring approximately 26 x 16mm. Combined gross weight approximately 14.73 grams.
