Description

The necklace designed as a series of oval amethysts, each with repoussé frames of floral design, length approximately 500mm, French assay marks for 14 and 18 carat gold, total gross weight approximately 59.31 grams, fitted case.

Condition

French assay marks for 14 and 18 carat gold. Amethysts light purple, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, some areas of minor chipping and wear to facet edges, the largest in necklace measuring approximately 14.1 x 11.5 x 6.1mm, calculated to weigh approximately 4.79 carats. Light scratches to stone and metal surfaces consistent with wear. Evidence of minor solder repair and small areas of associated discoloration to metal. Clasp secure. In good condition. Weight approximately 59.31 grams.
