Of abstract design, set with variously-cut gemstones including amethyst, sapphire, aquamarine, topaz, peridot and garnet, highlighted with brilliant-cut diamonds, signed Sterlé, French assay mark for 18 carat gold, partial maker's mark, gross weight approximately 86.91 grams, case stamped Sterlé. 

Signed STERLÉ PARIS, maker's mark for Sterlé, French assay marks for 18 carat gold, inscribed 8.190. Coloured gemstones including amethyst, sapphire, aquamarines, topaz, peridots and garnets, of medium saturation, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, scratches and abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to the metal consistent with age and wear, evidence of tarnish to the reverse close on the brooch fitting. Clasp secure, sliding safety catch. In good condition. Measuring approximately 128 x 72 x 25mm. Gross weight approximately 86.91 grams. Fitted case stamped STERLÉ, PARIS.
