Description

Each of flower and leaf design, one set with opal, and the other with carnelian cabochons, highlighted with single-cut diamonds, French assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum and maker's mark for Bondt, total gross weight approximately 27.90 grams.

Condition

French maker's mark for J Bondt, 19 rue Choiseul, 75002 Paris, and assay mark for 18 carat gold and platinum. Agate well matched in colour, orange brown body colour, translucent, minor abrasions. Opal showing nice play of colour, with green, blue and pink interference colours, some stones abraded and chipped, several opals slightly moving in the mount. Diamonds bright and lively, one diamond mount slightly bend outward. Scratches and tarnish to the metal consistent with age and use. Clasp secure, with sliding safety catch. Total gross weight approximately 27.90 grams.
