Of plume design, highlighted with circular-cut rubies and diamonds, signed Boucheron, British hallmark for 18 carat gold, maker's mark, gross weight approximately 28.90 grams.

Condition

British hallmark for London, 18 carat gold, date letter T for 1954, sponsor's mark BMCo for Boucheron. Rubies pinkish red, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, some surface-reaching, some areas of minor chipping and wear to facet edges. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.20 - 0.40 carats. Small solder mark to one frond of feather, possibly a casting flaw. Brooch fitting closing securely. Light scratches to stone and metal surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition. Overall dimensions approximately 77mm x 40mm. Gross weight approximately 28.90 grams.
