Description
The central element designed as a pair of connected hoops interlaced with stylised berry motifs set with calibré- and circular-cut sapphires, to an articulated link bracelet, inner circumference approximately 180mm, numbered, French assay marks for 18 carat gold and maker's mark, gross weight approximately 89.15 grams.
Condition
Clasp tongue stamped with French assay mark (rhino head) for 18 carat gold, and French maker's mark VP with two crossed arrows. Clasp numbered 1319. Sapphires mid to deep blue, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, some surface-reaching, some with areas of minor wear and chipping to facet edges. Links with slightly stiff and uneven articulation, one link with connecting structure slightly bent out of shape. Clasp in good working order, closing securely. Scratches to surfaces consistent with age and wear, some areas of minor discoloration to areas of metal. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 89.15 grams.
