Acquired in China in the late 1950s.
Thence in the family by descent.

Condition

The painting was examined outside the frame. There is a ca. 1.2cm long tear to the paper in the centre of the upper rim and extending into the paper that was backed in the past. There is a ca. 1cm flaw to the paper that was backed in the past. Otherwise good condition.
