Description

  • 29,2 cm, 11 1/2  in.
l'animal à décor d'émaux blancs ponctués de lignes sinueuses en bronze doré suggérant les plis de la peau, caparaçonné d'une selle et d'un long tapis frangé, surmontés d'un vase gu, les oreilles et la queue dorés, accidents et restaurations

Condition

The piece has been cast in 11 parts. There is a main restoration and a repainted area along the back right leg of the elephant, measuring a ca. 9 x 4 cm with the white enamels darkening to a yellowish colour. There are some other scattered minor infills. There is pitting to the enamels overall and wear to the gilding.
