Condition

This work is in good overall condition. The paper is slightly yellowed and undulated because of the artist's choice of media. There are two minor traces of folds lower left. There is a shallow scratch towards the right-hand upper margin.

Mario Sironi worked on several prestigious architectural and decorative projects. This watercolour and ink work possesses “architectural, cinematographic and plastic elements which combine in a perfect time-space synthesis”, as declared by Mario Penelope in "Sironi from Futurism to the Post-War Period".
