Catalogue Note
Vittorio Fagone, Alberto Fiz, Aldo Tagliaferro 1965-2000, Io-Ritratto, 2001, p. 113
An analysis of the dualism of the one own self, is the aim of this work.
The analysis of one own self, inevitably leads to a choice of values. Having placed these values- as they are subjective- in between the positive and the negative, I have preferred to concentrate the discussion into my own image, in order to make this analysis as objective as possible. For this analysis I have used three elements: my frontal image, its negative and the image of my nape. Through these elements I have looked for formal solutions that would underline the mutability of a relationship with one own self. I have repeated these elements up to the point of turning the looking at one’s own self, into an obsessive act.
