Condition
The canvas has not been lined and is securely attached to a keyed wooden stretcher. There are some scattered, pin-head sized spots of surface dirt (also visible in the catalogue illustration) and one small spot of paint flaking in the far upper left corner. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals no visible sign of retouching. This work appears to be in very good original condition and and could benefit from a light professional clean if desired. Presented in a simple gilt frame with a beige inner slip.
