Condition

Executed on paper laid down on canvas. Examination under UV light reveals spots and lines of retouching in the light grey background (the longest of which is approx. 7 cm long), some further vertical lines of retouching towards the model's hair and proper left eye and some smaller scattered lines and dots of retouching. There are a few thin lines of stable craquelure, most predominately to the woman's face and to the extreme lower central tree. This work is in overall fairly good condition.
