This work is in lovely condition. The canvas has a very old lining. The stretcher is original, and there are original additions across the top and bottom. The painting is clean and varnished. Under ultraviolet light, one can see a couple of spots in the lower and upper right corners and in the lower left. Within the picture proper, the only retouching is a spot in the water to the right of the figures and another spot in the sky in the upper right. The work should be hung as is.
