Condition

Please note, there is a minor crack to the proper left top of the shield approximately 8cm on the front and 6cm on the reverse. There is another crack to the centre approximately 10cm long on the front and reverse. There are two minor cracks below this crack approximately 2cm and 3cm long with some possible restoration. There is a small crack to the lower proper right corner about 1cm long with some very minor chipping to the edge of the shield in that area. There is minor wear to the whole shield particularly to the edges and the handle consistent with the works use and age. There is very good patina to the front of the shield and it is appears to be in fine condition overall. Subject to the above, there does not appear to be any visible evidence of repair or restoration. This shield is mounted on and sold with a custom made stand.
