This work is in good condition. Some stable faint craquelure across the impasto around the central area of the painting, all in line with the age of the painting. A few dark blue marks on the center right, inherent to the artist's creative process. The canvas has been re-stretched and re-lined. However, the original canvas has been kept on the reverse. Some signs of minor restoration under the UV light, mostly cosmetic.
Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are accurate, with the overall hues of the original work being more vivid.
